Many contractors are losing money on their projects. And if they’re losing money, they don’t have the time, energy or resources to do a thorough and professional job -- even if they wanted to.

In my 33 years as a general building contractor and over 15 years as a construction expert, I have been called on to assist in many disputes between general contractors, owners and sub-contractors. I’ve found that there are five main issues that lead to a majority of construction related problems, including poor quality construction, delays, disputes and, of course, bankrupt contractors and unhappy clients.
